For the rest of you, here's some of what you're missing. Krauss, in particular, sounds genuinely inspired by the pairing:

this is the first time i've listened to robert plant and been happy.
Smuss, I don't know if this says something about the Golden God, or you. Give The Honeydrippers a spin if you can find it. It's fierce.
It is a really good album, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it.
Plant has such a wealth of knowledge and an ear that's always searching. He'll never get the recognition for it that Peter Gabriel or David Byrne do as seekers of unique sounds, largely because he's saddled with the "Golden God" persona from Led Zeppelin, which even he still warmly embraces to this day. But Plant was incorporating elements of North African music since the late days of Zeppelin ("Kashmir", anyone?) and it's greatly influenced his solo output.
